Wednesday, September 1. Hurricane Earl is already flexing his muscles on south shore beaches, so we will not have a beach party and baptism tomorrow. BUT Pastor Gregg's Uncle Tony is opening his pool so we can have a pool party and baptism instead! (Take that, Hurricane Earl!) The pool party begins at 3 PM (slight time change), and the baptism begins about 6 PM. Three people are getting baptized! Anyone else? SEPTEMBER 10 - DIVORCECARE RESUMES:
Friday, September 10, 7:30 PM at the Manhasset Campus. This group seeks to support each member in his or her coping with the issues that come from marital separation and/or divorce. It does not matter whether you are just separating, in the midst of a legal action, or several years past the actual divorce. Our goal is to help you find help for your hurts, discover hope for the future and experience God's healing. Sessions run for 13 weeks on a rotating basis but you may join the group at anytime. Starting Sunday, September 12, 9:30 AM in Manhasset. A six-week discussion group on this book will be held in the library. Cost of the book is $10.
